OFSTED & CQC - ARRANGEMENTS FOR CHILDREN WITH SENDOfsted and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) are visiting our area, as part of an inspection. They will be looking at arrangements for children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). We would like to inform parents that Ofsted is currently inspecting provision across the Barnsley area; this inspection relates to the local authority and is not specific to our school.
Please see attached letter which clearly sets out how people can share their views through an online survey. If required, a paper version of the survey can be collected from and returned by 12 noon on 26th January to any Barnsley Family Hub site (including the market kitchen site.)
The online survey will close at 9am on 27 January 2026
All views are important and will help inspectors understand children and young people's experience of the SEND arrangements in Barnsley.
