It’s that time of year again - Children in Need! 

BBC Children in Need helps to change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in the UK and help ensure every child is safe, happy, secure and has the opportunities they need to reach their potential.

We will be having a non-uniform day where children can come to school dressed in pyjamas or wearing spotty/ bright coloured clothes on Friday 14^th November. We suggest a voluntary contribution of £1, if you are able to, to your child's class teacher and this will be collected, counted and sent off to the Children in Need charity. 

Please ensure that your child has appropriate shoes and a coat on this day to go outside at playtime and lunchtime. Classes which have PE on Friday can still take part on the day as long as they have appropriate footwear. 

The theme is 'Challenge yourself to 25.' The School Council have decided to do two things;

- 25km challenge- Each class will run/walk 25 km between them on the day (about 830m each). 

- 25 random acts of kindness. Each class will endeavour to do 25 random acts of kindness on the day. It could be something really small like holding a door.
