Dear Parents/Carers,

Please be aware that as of Monday 12th May we will be the changing the way you drop your children off in EYFS (both FS1 and FS2). We will be asking that you come into the cloakroom but then say goodbye to your child at the classroom door and do not come into the classroom. An adult will be present to guide your child in and help them settle in the classroom. This approach will help your child gain the independence they need as they get ready to move to their new classes next year. It will also make our classrooms less busy and more calm, which we are hoping will help the children settle quicker and reduce any sensory overload.

We appreciate this is a change but hope you will work with us to make it as positive as possible for the children.
