We love celebrating birthdays at Kings Oak. Birthdays are such fun – marking another year that has past, and a reminder that we are ‘growing up’!

At school we don’t mind the occasional pre-packaged sweets or cakes for the birthday child to celebrate with their class at the end of the school day. However, more recently this has escalated with deliveries of flowers and presents been delivered into school for birthday children which is not appropriate as these should be given at home.

We are very happy for children to wear their birthday badge, and we will, of course, wish a very ‘happy birthday’ on their special day.
