We are constantly risk assessing the situation around the school grounds regards the snow and ice.  Unfortunately, the snow/ice on the roof is hanging precariously over the cloakroom doors and so the children cannot use these as exits at home time.

Logistically, we have to look at how to safety dismiss 450 children through the limited exits which are safe to use.  This is our plan for today:

All Foundation children can be collected from Nursery gate from 3.00pm

Year 1 to be collected from children centre door from 3.00pm

Year 2 to be collected from the hall door from 3.05pm

Year 3/4/5/6 will be accompanied in a walking bus around school onto the playground to be dismissed, handed over to their adult at 3.10pm. Children who normally walk home alone will stil be allowed to do so.
