The Year 4 children are really enjoying reading with their class The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C. S. Lewis.

You probably know the story. While playing, Lucy and her siblings find a wardrobe that lands them in a mystical place called Narnia. Here they realise that it was fated and they must now unite with Aslan to defeat an evil queen.

Sometime before the Spring Bank Holiday, we would like the children to watch the 2005 film.  It is a PG film and on the Disney channel it’s listed as a 12a.  This is due to the lengthy battle scenes. As we will have read the book beforehand, we will have prepared them for the more intense scenes in the film.
