SATS week is just around the corner and we want to make sure the children feel as ready as possible. Each child should have brought a booklet home before Easter with tasks that they can have a go at little and often over the next week or so. If they have any questions please feel free to send the booklets back in to school so that we can go through it with your child. 

The timetable for SATS week is as follows: 

Monday 13^th May: English grammar, punctuation and spelling papers 1 and 2

Tuesday 14^th May: English reading

Wednesday 15^th May: Mathematics papers 1 and 2

Thursday 16^th  May: Mathematics paper 3

We would also like to invite ALL year 6 children into breakfast club free of charge that week (apart from Friday) from 8.00am onwards. Children will be given some breakfast to set them up for the days and it also gives them time to chat with teachers about any worries they may have.

Children also have the chance to wear sports kit and their leavers' hoodie for that week as they will be having lots of breaks and fresh air after the tests.

Please can we stress how important it is that they arrive at school on time 8:40 at the latest if they are not attending breakfast club.

Just as we always say, please ensure they are getting a good night's sleep the previous night so they are refreshed and can do the best they possibly can.
