As previously advised, teachers’ unions have announced two more national strike dates on Wednesday 5th and Friday 7th July.

Teachers do not have to say in advance if they are striking, and there are no rules about when parents must be told about closures. However, our teachers have made us aware of their intentions and we can confirm that it is likely that the only two classes open to children on Wednesday and Friday next week will be Mrs Smith's reception class and Miss Siddall's year 2 class.  All other classes including nursery will be closed on both days.

On Thursday next week, sandwiched between those two days, we will hold our transition day in school where children spend time in their new classroom with their new teacher and class mates in preparation for September.

Please note that Netherwood's three day transition is still going ahead as planned.
