The Multiplication Times Tables Check is an online test where Year 4 pupils are asked 25 questions on times tables 2 to 12, to determine whether they can recall their times tables fluently. This is essential for future success in mathematics. These tests are conducted during the first two weeks back after half term.

With this in mind, all Year 4 children are bringing home a pack with things to practice. Just a few minutes every day will help.  There are examples of the trickiest which a lot of children struggle with so please work with your child to master one of these every day.  Just do random little quizzes by asking a question in the car or while dishing up dinner. This will all support their learning.
