To all parents and carers of Y6 children, we just wanted to send a message to you all to say how proud we are of your children and how hard they worked last week during SATS week. They did their absolute best, were resilient and we've been so impressed with them so a HUGE well done! 

Moving forward, we're now focussing on writing. As part of Y6 assessment, writing is not assessed through SATs but is moderated in the weeks after. For this reason, we've put the children into smaller groups where they can get more direct support in areas that will best support their writing. Alongside writing, we will also be carrying out work linked to transition, getting them secondary school ready and of course, we will soon be looking at our end of year performance - exciting! 

Please reiterate to your children the importance of remaining focussed and trying their best.
